PERFUMER’S STORY 

Meo Fusciuni L’Oblio Parfum is a unisex woody fragrance. “…And what if man’s true good were to forget, rather than remember?” At the end of this path, I understood that I no longer wanted to remember — I only wanted to lose myself in the oblivion of my research, and remain in stillness. Forgetting had become my salvation, my peace. “I was in Cambodia, a long journey up the Mekong, searching for forgetting as salvation. The banks of the great river, the dry season of spring — delicate and luminous notes of Helichrysum, Incense and Orange open this flow, in a golden river, a shining labyrinth of the soul. The sound of drums in the night overpowers the silence of the temple — it is the dawn of a new day. L’Oblio narrates the path of man in search of forgetting, with Tiziano Terzani as a spiritual and literary guide. An invitation to travel, a bond that grew stronger and stronger between me and the East. Memory flowed slowly among the vegetal and smoky notes of Mate Tobacco, while the welcoming presence of Iris speaks to the soul — we are now in the heart of Oblivion.” When the long journey is about to end, the gentle woody notes of Sandalwood and Palo Santo lead us back into the depths of balance. Only the sunset is missing to define the ending, yet oblivion remains — as an eternal trace, like dust in ancient temples.
